Terms of Service

1. About These Terms

Welcome to Alshabah. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to Alshabah, operated by Alshebah Al Kahrobayi Pest Control Equipment Trading LLC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Our online store at alshabah.ae runs on Shopify.

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our [Privacy Policy], [Return & Refund Policy], and [Shipping Policy]. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the website.

These Terms do not limit your rights under UAE consumer protection law.

2. Who Can Buy

  • You must be 18 or older to place an order.
  • Homes and businesses (restaurants, offices, warehouses, and similar) may buy for their own use.
  • For bulk orders, contact us for a quote.
  • Reselling our products requires our written agreement.
  • You agree to give accurate name, phone, address, and payment details.

3. Our Products

  • We do our best to show products accurately. Colors and appearance may vary slightly depending on your screen.
  • Product details, availability, and prices may change without notice.
  • We may limit quantities per customer or order.

4. Orders

  • Placing an order is an offer to buy. You’ll receive an order confirmation by email or message.
  • Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Tabby, and Tamara orders are confirmed once payment is approved.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) orders are confirmed automatically when placed.
  • We may cancel an order if a product is out of stock, a pricing or listing error occurs, or we suspect fraud. If you already paid, you’ll get a full refund.
  • You can cancel free of charge before your order ships. See our Return & Refund Policy.

5. Cash on Delivery

  • Please have the exact amount ready at delivery.
  • If you refuse a COD delivery or can’t be reached after delivery attempts, the order is cancelled and an AED 20 fee will be added to your next order to cover the return shipping cost.

6. Prices and Payment

  • All prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED) and include 5% VAT.
  • Delivery fees are shown separately at checkout.
  • The price you pay is the price shown when you place your order.
  • Promotions may have their own terms. If they conflict with these Terms, the promotion terms apply.
  • Tabby and Tamara payments are also subject to their own terms.

7. Shipping and Delivery

  • Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.
  • Responsibility for the products passes to you once they are delivered to you or the address you provided.
  • We’re not responsible for delays outside our control, such as courier delays, severe weather, or government actions.

8. Warranty

Part Warranty Period
Electric board 3 years from delivery
UV lamps 6 months from delivery

What’s covered: manufacturing defects under normal use.

What’s not covered:

  • Misuse, dropping, or a unit that has been opened, modified, or repaired by anyone other than Alshabah
  • Water or weather damage to indoor units, or indoor units used outdoors
  • Damage from power surges or wrong voltage
  • Glue boards and other consumables
  • Normal wear on the outer casing

How to claim:

  1. Message us on WhatsApp with your order number and photos or a video of the problem.
  2. We arrange a free pickup within the UAE.
  3. We repair or replace the faulty part or unit, at our choice.

The warranty applies to the original buyer and does not affect your legal rights.

9. Product Safety

  • Follow the user manual included with your device.
  • Unplug the unit before cleaning or replacing bulbs or glue boards.
  • Keep electric-grid units out of children’s reach.
  • Use indoor units indoors only, away from water.
  • Don’t stare directly into the UV light for long periods.

We’re not responsible for injury or damage caused by ignoring these instructions or the user manual.

10. Intellectual Property

All website content, including the Alshabah name, logo, images, text, and videos, belongs to Alshabah or its licensors. You may not copy, reuse, or distribute it without our written permission.

11. Reviews and Feedback

  • By posting a review or sending feedback, you allow us to use, display, and share it, including in marketing.
  • Reviews must be honest, lawful, and respectful.
  • We may remove content that is offensive, false, or breaks these Terms.

12. Prohibited Use

You may not use the website to:

  • Break any law, or harm, harass, or mislead anyone
  • Copy or scrape content using bots, scrapers, or automated tools (including AI agents) without our permission
  • Upload viruses or interfere with the website’s security
  • Place fake orders or use someone else’s identity or payment method

We may suspend or block access for anyone who breaks these rules.

13. Third-Party Services and Links

Our website uses or links to third-party services such as Shopify, payment providers, and couriers. Their own terms apply, and we’re not responsible for their websites or content.

14. Errors

If we find an error in a price, description, or availability, we may correct it and cancel affected orders, even after confirmation. Any payment taken will be fully refunded.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the extent allowed by UAE law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or business interruption).
  • Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UAE law.

16. Indemnity

You agree to cover any losses or claims against Alshabah caused by your breach of these Terms or misuse of the website.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Dubai.

18. Language

These Terms are available in English and Arabic. If the two versions differ, the English version prevails.

19. General

  • If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest still applies.
  • If we don’t enforce a right right away, we haven’t given it up.
  • These Terms, together with our posted policies, are the full agreement between you and us.
  • We may transfer our rights under these Terms. You may not transfer yours without our written consent.

20. Messages From Us

By placing an order, you agree to receive order and service messages by email, SMS, or WhatsApp. Marketing messages are covered in our Privacy Policy.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the website means you accept the updated Terms.
