A UV tube keeps glowing long after it stops attracting. The light you see is not the light insects follow.
Replace both tubes every 12 months of normal use, even if they still switch on. Always change them as a pair; never mix an old tube with a new one.

Slide out the collection tray and empty it. Brush the grid with the brush supplied. Wipe the outer casing with a dry cloth.
A grid coated in insect residue loses its charge. A dusty tube loses its reach.

• Replace the board when its surface is covered, or every 3 months whichever comes first.
• Slide it out, fold it sticky-side inward, and bin it. Never reuse a board, never scrape one clean, and never re-lay it.
• Use genuine AlShabah boards. Third-party boards may not fit the runners or hold at high temperatures

• Never install near gas cylinders, aerosols, solvents, paint, alcohol-based cleaners, or fuel storage.
  Never spray insecticide, air freshener, or cleaning product near the unit or into the grid.
• Keep clear of curtains, paper, cardboard and packaging.
  Indoor use only — unless your model carries an outdoor rating

• Mount it [1.8–2.2 m] above floor level, away from windows and competing light sources.
• Never fit it directly above food preparation surfaces, open plates, or serving counters.
• Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
• Leave it running through the night insect activity peaks at dusk and after dark.
