This policy explains what personal information Alshabah (operated by Alshebah Al Kahrobayi Pest Control Equipment Trading LLC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates) collects when you visit alshabah.ae, buy from us, or contact us. It also explains how we use that information and the choices you have. Our store runs on Shopify.

By using our website, you agree to this policy. If it conflicts with our Terms of Service, this policy applies to anything related to your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

  • Contact details: name, phone number, email, and delivery and billing addresses
  • Order details: products viewed, added to cart, bought, returned, exchanged, or cancelled
  • Payment details: payment method and confirmation. We do not see or store your full card number. Card payments are handled securely by our payment providers.
  • Refund details: for Cash on Delivery refunds only, your bank name and IBAN
  • Account details: your email and saved preferences. We use one-time email codes to log in, so no password is stored.
  • Messages: what you send us on WhatsApp, email, or phone
  • Device and browsing data: IP address, browser, device type, and how you use the site, collected through cookies

2. Where We Get It

  • From you: when you order, create an account, or contact us
  • Automatically: through cookies and similar tools on the site
  • From partners: payment, delivery, and advertising partners

3. How We Use It

  • To process orders: payment, delivery, returns, exchanges, and refunds
  • To support you: answering questions and updating you on your order
  • For marketing: offers and reminders by WhatsApp, email, and SMS, and ads on other platforms. You can opt out anytime (see Section 7).
  • To improve the store: understanding what customers view and buy
  • For security: preventing fraud and protecting your account
  • For legal reasons: meeting legal, tax, and regulatory obligations

4. Who We Share It With

We never sell your personal information. We share it only with:

We may also share information if our business is sold or merged.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies to run the store, understand site traffic, and show relevant ads through Meta Pixel, Google Analytics/Ads, TikTok Pixel, and Snapchat Pixel. When you first visit, a cookie banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your choice anytime through the cookie settings link in the website footer or your browser settings.

6. Storage, Security, and Retention

  • Your data may be stored and processed outside the UAE (for example, on Shopify’s servers). We work with providers that apply appropriate safeguards.
  • We use reasonable security measures, but no online system is 100% secure. Please don’t send card details or other sensitive information over WhatsApp or email.
  • We keep your information only as long as needed to serve you, meet legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You can ask us to:

  • Access the information we hold about you
  • Correct information that is wrong
  • Delete your information (unless we must keep it by law)
  • Get a copy of your information
  • Stop marketing messages:
    • Email: click “unsubscribe”
    • SMS: reply STOP
    • WhatsApp: reply STOP or message us

We’ll still send order-related messages after you opt out of marketing.

To make a request, contact us (Section 10). We may need to verify your identity first. We will respond within 30 days. You can also visit Shopify’s Privacy Portal for data Shopify processes.

8. Children

Our store is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect children’s data. If you believe a child has shared information with us, contact us and we’ll delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
