AlShabah began in Amman with one idea: protecting a space from insects shouldn't mean putting chemicals into the air people breathe.
We built our factory around that idea. Every grid, lamp and housing is designed and assembled in Jordan to a standard that competes with anything imported — and backed by a 3-year warranty, which is unusual in this category for a reason.
Today our devices work in homes, restaurants, farms and factories across seven markets, with the UAE as our largest. Every unit still leaves the same production line it always has

We don't assemble other people's parts. Grid voltage, lamp spectrum, housing geometry and airflow are decisions we make and test ourselves in Jordan — which is why we can improve a model instead of waiting for a supplier to.

2017
The First Workshop
AlShabah is founded in Amman as a small workshop building electric insect killers for local restaurants and farms
2019
Manufacturing In-House
Production moves to a dedicated factory. Grids, housings and assembly all come under one roof, giving us control over quality instead of dependence on suppliers
2020
The Pro Series
The Pro model launches with a 3600V grid and a UV-A lamp selected after extended field testing. It becomes our best-selling device
2021
Entering the UAE
AlShabah begins distribution in the United Arab Emirates. The market quickly becomes our largest outside Jordan
2023
The 3-Year Warranty
We extend coverage to three years across the full range — a commitment few manufacturers in the category are willing to make
2024
Built for Business
The commercial line arrives, including glue-board units for food-preparation areas where an electric grid isn't appropriate
